Born in India, lived in UK since he was 5 yrs old. Started out playing the viola at secondary school, moved to cello, finally settled on the guitar. Has been writing songs since puberty - apparently he was told it would ease the pain of growing up! Early influences: Carole King, Joan Armatrading, Joni Mitchell, Richie Havens, Genesis and Supertramp. Naran writes the lyrics and music, sings the songs and plays the guitars.

FRANK CODRINGTON
Born in St John, Barbados, lived in UK since 9 yrs old. Passionate about music, been playing bass for about 20 yrs. Influences include Sade, Usher, AWB including ex Jamiroquai bassist Stuart Zender. Plays two basses, one fretless, both Ernie Ball Music Man Stingrays through Galian Kruger Rig.

VICKY GANT
Born in Nottinghamshire, started playing the piano at 6 years old and the clarinet at 9. Brother and Uncle both musicians which inspired her to take it up too! Achieved grade 8 distinction on both by the age of 16. Gained BA Hons in Music from Newcastle University and then a PGCE from Durham. Now Head of Music at a school in Sheffield. Loves all styles of music especially Latino, Rock, RnB and Jazz. Favourite bands of the moment are Snowpatrol, U2, Coldplay, Hard-Fi and the Foo Fighters.

GEORGE GRIGNON
Born in Derby. Father was one of original Jamaican DJs, so grew up listening to lots of R&B and Jazz. Started to play military marching drums in early 70's while listening to Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin etc. Joined Point Blank in 1992, then joined Grudge 13 in 1998, before forming Kaliugah in 2002. Drum heroes include: Billy Cobham, Lenny White, Dennis Chambers, Peter Erskine, John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Narada Micheal Walden and Jerome Brailey.

SIMON JACKSON
The most notable has to be the very excellent guitarist Simon Jackson whose killer rifts and solos kept the punters entertained for hours! Check out what Simon's up to now at www.simonandjim.co.uk

In the early days the band devoured drummers before settling with George. Previous drummers included Femi, Adam and Victor.
